What happens to the details you give Mandy’s Deli through this website.
Who we are

What we collect
Only what you type into the catering enquiry form:
- your name and phone number
- your email address, if you give one
- the occasion, the date, roughly how many people, and whether you will collect or want it dropped off, if you choose them
- anything you write in the message box, such as allergies
The website asks for nothing else. It has no accounts, no newsletter and no payments.
What we use it for
To reply to your enquiry, and to plan and arrange your order. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell them or pass them to anyone else.
Where it goes
- Your enquiry is kept in the website’s records, which only Mandy and S-M Website Designs, who build and look after the website, can see. The website is hosted by WP Engine.
- A copy is emailed to Mandy’s Deli’s inbox, which is a Google Gmail account.
- If you give an email address, the website emails you a confirmation. It repeats only the choices you picked, never your name or your message.
- To stop the form being flooded, the website keeps a scrambled form of your internet address for one minute after you send it.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry stays in the website’s records until Mandy deletes it. If you would like yours deleted, ask and it will be.
Cookies and your browser
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking or advertising tools. While you fill in the form, your browser keeps what you have typed in that tab, so a reload does not lose it, and it remembers how far down a page you were. Both stay on your device and go when you close the tab.
Like any website, the host’s servers may record technical details of each visit, such as your internet address, to run and protect the site. The links to Facebook and Google Maps take you to those sites, which have their own privacy notices.
Your choices
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to have them corrected, or to have them deleted. Ring 01843 846946, call into the shop, or reply to your confirmation email.
If you are unhappy with how your details have been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
